Refund policy
Payments are final. How canceling and changing plans work, and the few times money or credits come back.
Draft: not yet reviewed by a lawyer.
Last updated: October 15, 2026
The short version
- Payments are final: no refunds, except where the law requires one. This covers Coach Pro and everything employers buy.
- You can cancel a renewing plan at any time. You keep what you paid for until the end of the period you paid for.
- Moving up to a longer plan is prorated: the unused part of your current plan counts toward the new one.
- Paid job emails we turn down or cannot send are refunded on their own, because you never got them.
No refunds
Every payment is final: a first payment, a renewal or a Lifetime payment for Coach Pro, and every employer purchase. We do not give refunds because you changed your mind, did not use the service, canceled, moved to a shorter plan or deleted your account, or because we limited, suspended or ended your account.
The only exceptions are the cases this page names, a charge we made by mistake (such as charging you twice for the same thing), and any refund the law requires. Where the law where you live gives you a right to a refund or to cancel, nothing on this page takes that right away.
Canceling
You can cancel a renewing plan at any time from your account. It stops renewing, and you keep what you paid for until the end of the period you already paid for. Then it ends, and you are not charged again.
Canceling does not refund the rest of that period.
A Lifetime payment is one payment with no renewal, so there is nothing to cancel.
Changing plans
- Moving to a longer plan (for example Monthly to Annual) starts at once and is prorated: our payment provider takes off the unused part of your current plan and charges the new plan.
- Moving to a shorter plan starts at your next renewal. Nothing is refunded.
- Moving from a renewing plan to Lifetime stops the renewing plan. Its paid time simply runs out, and nothing is refunded for it.
Deleting your account
When you delete your account, a plan bought on our website stops renewing and your Coach Pro access ends right away. Deleting your account does not refund any payment, including time you had left.
If we end your account
If we limit, suspend or end your account under our terms of use, for example because we believe it was used to scrape or copy our listings or was shared, we do not refund any payment, unless the law requires it.
Employers
- Featured jobs, credits and other employer products are final once bought, including any part you have not used.
- You can cancel a renewing employer plan at any time. You keep it until the end of the period you already paid for.
- If a featured job closes early, the whole days left come back to you as credits, not money.
- Paid job emails: if we turn one down, it is canceled, or it fails to send, your credit comes back or your card is refunded, on its own. If one reaches only part of its audience, we look at it and may refund part of it.
When a refund does happen
A refund ends what that payment bought, right away: Coach Pro time, unused credits or featured days. If it was for a renewing plan, the plan also stops renewing. What other payments bought stays.
Refunds go back to the card or account you paid with. Your payment provider emails you a receipt. The money usually shows up within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
If you think we charged you by mistake, or that the law gives you a right to a refund, email us at the address at the bottom of this page from the email address on your account. Tell us what you bought, when, and why. We answer within a few business days.
App Store and Google Play
If you ever buy through the App Store or Google Play, Apple's or Google's refund rules apply instead of this page, and Apple or Google handle any refund. Ask them.
Chargebacks and disputes
Please contact us before you dispute a charge with your bank. If we charged you by mistake, we fix it faster than a dispute takes.
If you open a dispute, we turn off what that payment bought, and a renewing plan behind it is canceled, while the dispute is open. If the bank decides for us, we may turn your access back on. If it decides for you, the access stays off.
Changes to this policy
When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. A change applies to payments made after it, not to payments you already made.
