Lead a high school tennis program as head coach for boys and girls teams. You would organize and supervise the whole program, teach skills, strategy and physical training, and guide any assistant coaches on staff. You would also mentor athletes, help with tournament logistics, and look after equipment.
You need current CPR and First Aid certification and a current fingerprint clearance card. Previous successful coaching experience in the sport is required. A state teaching or coaching certificate, or the employer certification within 45 days of hire, is preferred, and you would complete several NFHS online courses. You get a coaching staff to lead and an athletic director to report.
