Help instructors run tennis and pickleball group lessons, clinics, tournaments and camps. You set up before each session and clean up afterward, plan lessons, and give members feedback on the court. You also promote programs to members and people who might join, and work with the racquet pro on procedures and curriculum. As a mandated reporter, you report any signs of abuse or neglect.
The schedule can include early mornings, evenings and weekends, and you may be needed outside 9 to 5. You need CPR and First Aid within 60 days of hire, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 60 pounds. A USPTA, the employer, PPR or IPTPA certification is preferred, and you must be at least 15. Staff get a membership and discounts on programs.
