Head Racquet Sports Professional
Private clubName with Pro
South Florida
As the head pickleball professional, you would lead a club's full pickleball program, from private lessons and clinics to leagues, ladders and tournaments. You would also schedule courts, keep equipment in shape, and recruit, train and supervise pickleball and tennis instructors and staff. Member experience is part of the job too, so you would respond quickly to feedback.
This is a full-time role for someone. You need strong teaching skills, CPR/AED and First Aid certification, and experience running tournaments and special events. A pickleball certification such as PPR, IPTPA or the employer, or an equivalent, is preferred. You would also get a 401(k) with employer match, and the club supports professional association memberships.
