Senior Tennis Coach (part-time)

Coach tennis at a senior level for children and teenagers, and help run the day-to-day tennis operations. You would teach lessons, drills and practice programs, and supervise matches, including recording scores. You would also set up and break down courts, keep participant records, and supervise other coaches on site. The job is part-time and includes administering sanctioned USTA tournaments.

The role wants five or more years of teaching tennis and working in school programs, plus at least one year working with children in a similar setting. You need a high school degree or equivalent, previous tennis coaching experience and a pre-employment tennis skills assessment. Player experience is preferred, and knowledge of the USTA 10 and the employer format is required. The core of the work is teaching children and teens, so it suits a coach who likes that age group.
